What could be some of the reasons for the migration of people from villages to cities? - Lost Spring by Anees Jung

People move from villages and towns to cities for numerous kinds of reasons. However, one common reason they all have is in my opinion, a chance of better life. Subsequently, when they grow up in villages and small towns they get the idea from their parents and also from the world wide global network, of what kind of opportunities they can have living in cities contrary to where they are living. Theoretically, they can earn a lot of money in cities than with that labor and talent in a small town. But in order to earn adequate amount of money they have to be well educated which many villagers are not in countries like India.
